Little St. Augustine Chapel

Happy Sunday! I was recently in St. Augustine this past week for a photography birding fest and got to shoot at varies locations in the area. However, this little chapel was my most favorite place I visited. It is called the Our Lady of La Leche at the Mission. This little chapel was first built in 1677 and it was reconstructed twice, but most recently in 1910 after a hurricane came through that area. The chapel is over a 100 years old! It is a little chapel dedicated to praying. Little benches roll across the floor of the small chapel and you can light a candle. There is a statue of Mary and baby Jesus on display at the back of the chapel that glows under the lights. It is a wonderful peaceful place for prayer that is filled with the Holy Spirit.

Nashville Photography! Americana Inspired!

What I love most about Nashville, Tennessee is the Americana vibe that it carries! I love using HDR and the HDR effect on almost everything I shoot in Nashville! Nashville has some really cool rustic things to shoot that are perfect for those HDR images. Places like Marathon Motor Works or the Parthenon are awesome locations for photographers to test out their creativity when it comes to HDR photography. I have been to Nashville very summer for the past 3 years. These photos are some of many of my favorite HDR images. I also got the chance to shoot with 14 time Grammy Award Winning Country/Bluegrass singer Ricky Skaggs who so unbelievably talented. I shot a portrait of him too!

Memory Lane: All You Need is LOVE…

Old Car

This is a very fun place called Memory Lane in Rogersville Tennessee. It is a restored vintage town that is only open one day out of the year. The town features yards of old cars, a restored diner, a restored school, general store, vintage mobil homes, and so much more! It is really cool to be able to step back in time and witness the items that made up the 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s!  A great place for Americana photographers to spend a day.
